I'm James Dorta, founder of Three DE. I've always been passionate about emerging technologies and started exploring design tools and interoperability from a young age. After working on major AEC projects across Australia, I launched Three DE in 2024 to help teams work smarter and more efficiently while aligning with digital engineering frameworks.

My experience covers the key areas of digital engineering: strategy and transformation, digital design and modelling, data and information management, and project delivery support. I’ve worked across road, rail and tunnel projects in Victoria, New South Wales and the US, always focused on turning complex tools into practical outcomes.

Three DE is building a flexible model that allows us to scale and adapt to each project's needs. Our goal is to give clients the tools to spot risks and opportunities early, shape efficient workflows, and deliver with clarity and confidence. We take care of your digital assets from the start, so you can focus on building, not troubleshooting.

Three DE is a scalable and independent digital engineering team helping civil and infrastructure projects across Australia harness the full value of digital tools and workflows.

We guide your digital journey from strategy to execution, providing expert support in BIM management, GIS integration, advanced 3D modelling, design automation, construction simulations, and scan-to-BIM insights.
